This is where my Alaska quilting got its start with this Stack n Whack quilt. My friends Anisa and Jodie taught me how to tear (yes, I said tear it is part of the stack n whack process) and then cut the pieces. I sewed the pieces together on my Brother sewing machine that I brought with me from PA a few years earlier. I did the quilting on that same machine using a Stitch-in-the-Ditch style and my addiction to this new type of creativity began.
